Automated Fuel Polishing Systems

Perfect Fuel Preservation Ltd. Automated Fuel Polishing Systems

Automated Fuel Polishing SystemsPerfect Fuel Preservation Ltd. Is the Canadian Distributor for AXI International. The AXI Automated Fuel Polishing Systems are considered to be the finest available.

The fuel is not simply filtered but conditioned, monitored and moisture analyzed. Water is removed in a separate medium from the filter cartridge and all filters are monitored for performance.

The fuel is conditioned (polymerized) during the cycling process to maintain the tank as a complete polished unit.

Simply filtering the fuel lets the fuel deteriorate and then the small area around the fuel filter pick-up is filtered. The rest of the tank continues to re-polymerize until sludge is formed. Most sludge will pass through a filter unless the filters are “absolute filters”. Absolute filters are used exclusively in AXI systems with a 3, 5 or 10 micron rating.

Important note: Diesel must not be filtered below 3 micron. Damage to the fuel and related engine parts will occur.

Filtering does not address the base problem of carbon molecules re-polymerizing (chaining back together due to their positive and negative charges). In the AXI Automated Fuel Polishing Systems system, this problem is addressed using the AXI fuel conditioner which continually releases the re-polymerized chains from each other during the cycling process.

Polymerized fuel is quickly identified because of its clarity. AXI systems running always provide the clearest fuel possible, often exceeding the as delivered state of the fuel.

The AXI systems are sized to the tank. The system is timed to “turn” the fuel in the tank weekly based on 95% capacity.

AXI systems are inexpensive to maintain do to the advanced fuel conditioning. Most systems require a simple filter change annually.

AXI systems are monitored either from the face panel, a building monitoring system or by electronic notification (text, email) to building supervisors.

AXI Automated Fuel Polishing Systems equipment is UL certified so installation in an Ontario site does require a TSSA variance. The variance price will be included in all quotes. The variance requires the use if a Jamesbury valve on the inlet site of the cabinet.

A list of Canadian clients is available upon request.
